A new survey says women spend 72 days of their lives shaving legs

Do you ever feel like you’ve been spending too much of your time getting rid of those fuzz? It’s quite tiring and annoying, I know.

Though we hate shaving, we got no choice but to get those razors and wipe all our unsightly hairs away. It’s the fastest solution we can opt for. However, its effects are super temporary. Hair starts to sprout again after a day or two. Frustrating, isn’t it?

According to a new survey conducted by a British beauty brand, women spend 72 days of their lives shaving legs. This means that they spend approximately 1,728 hours, which is ironically our most hated grooming routine too. 35 percent of the survey participants said that they hate shaving their legs more than any beauty routine they do: tweezing their brows, styling their hair, and etc.

However, as noted in the survey, the results are based on the women who spend an average time of four minutes, doing it six times a week.

A Better Way to Remove Unwanted Body Hair

Most women include shaving as a part of their regular beauty habit. For some reasons, shaving their legs make them feel extra confident, sexy, and optimistic.

However, they still try to keep on finding a better way to get rid of unnecessary hairs – if not permanently, at least for a longer term.

The constant search for a more effective way to remove unwanted body hairs may come to an end. This is because a new solution is now readily available: the IPL Hair Removal.

You may have heard about IPL in the past years. It is a safe and effective way to remove unwanted body hairs and reduce hair re-growth. Many people who use IPL as their hair removal method claim that they are able to attain the smooth and hair free body they’re always dreaming of.

Are you curious about how it works? Then, keep on reading to learn more about the technology of IPL.

IPL Hair Removal

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) is a widely used technology in the cosmetic and medical industries. For aesthetic and therapeutic purposes, IPL is used to treat various skin conditions, including unwanted hair issues.

IPL works through a source of broad-spectrum, visible light. Its light is mainly controlled to remove shorter wavelengths. It is designed to target specific structures such as the melanin pigment in the hair. The light in IPL transforms into heat energy which causes damage to the hair follicles. Through this, you can expect hair to fall out.

You can achieve quicker treatments with IPL. Since it uses broad-spectrum light, wider coverage of area can be treated at once. Also, treatment can be considerably cheaper.

In fact, you have the option to use IPL hair removal devices at home. It is also safe to perform, but safety precautions should still be practiced. Always comply with the manufacturer’s instructions. Also, if you are going to purchase a device, check if it is FDA-cleared or approved.

Safety starts with you!
